Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bookkeeper and Administrative/HR Assistant. This multifaceted role will be responsible for managing financial records, assisting with administrative tasks, and supporting our Human Resources department.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Coordinate administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing emails, and organizing office supplies.
  • Support the HR department with recruitment efforts, employee onboarding, and maintaining personnel records.
  • Assist with employee benefits administration and HR compliance activities.
  • Handle other duties and special projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience working as a bookkeeper, administrative assistant, or HR assistant.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
